U78CrV P65/R65 heavy rail is premium high-performance alloy steel rail for 1520mm broad-gauge railway systems across Russia, Central Asia and CIS countries, manufactured according to GOST 51685 requirements.

As advanced chromium-vanadium microalloy rail steel, U78CrV possesses higher strength, outstanding rolling contact fatigue resistance and excellent low-temperature toughness compared with U71Mn and U75V grades. It effectively resists surface cracks, spalling and internal fatigue defects under long-term heavy axle load operation. U78CrV is Cr-V composite microalloyed rail steel. The compound addition of chromium and vanadium refines grain structure, enhances matrix hardness and toughness simultaneously. Core strengths:
