UIC54 R350HT rail is a premium head heat-treated heavy rail adopting 54E1 profile, manufactured strictly in accordance with EN 13674-1 European standards. Compared with conventional untreated R260 rail, R350HT applies precise online thermal treatment technology to strengthen the surface layer of rail head, delivering high hardness and superior rolling contact fatigue resistance.

This upgraded UIC54 grade is specially developed for routes bearing heavy freight loads, frequent braking and heavy abrasion on curved tracks. It effectively inhibits rail head spalling, crack propagation and surface wear, greatly extending service cycle and lowering track maintenance costs. It is an optimal upgrade solution for medium-heavy 1435mm standard gauge railway projects across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe.

Steel Grade Introduction — R350HT

R350HT is professional head-hardened heat-treated pearlitic rail steel specified by EN standard. Controlled rapid quenching is carried out on rail head surface, forming a wear-resistant high-hardness outer layer while maintaining good internal matrix toughness, balancing hardness and impact resistance.
