We have finished a large-scale energy pipeline steel supply project for TROUVAY & CAUVIN Engineering Supply LLC, a professional engineering supplier based in the UAE. The total supply volume reaches 5258.22 metric tons of high-grade line pipes, covering two critical steel grades: X52N(PSL2) and X60QS.

Complying with strict API 5L international pipeline standards, X52N PSL2 and X60QS line pipes feature outstanding low-temperature toughness, excellent weldability and high pressure-bearing performance. They are perfectly applicable for onshore oil, gas and water transmission pipelines adapting to UAE’s desert high-temperature environment and harsh working conditions. This ultra-large bulk order strengthens our long-term partnership with local top engineering contractors and expands our market share in the Middle East oil & gas pipeline steel market.

Project Challenge

This ultra-large tonnage dual-grade line pipe project faced three core difficulties during production and export: 1.Dual-Grade Separate Production Control: X52N(PSL2) and X60QS own different chemical composition and mechanical performance requirements. Mixed production requires strict grade separation to avoid material confusion. 2.Strict PSL2 High Standard Inspection: PSL2 level line pipes require full-range strict non-destructive testing and mechanical performance verification, with much higher quality thresholds than ordinary PSL1 pipes. 3.Ultra-Large Volume Delivery Pressure: 5258.22 tons massive cargo needs scientific batch production and shipment arrangement to match UAE engineering construction schedule without any delay. 4.Middle East Customs Compliance: UAE has strict audit requirements for steel pipe quality certificates and inspection documents, requiring complete standardized English paperwork for smooth customs clearance.

Our Solution

We launched targeted one-stop manufacturing, quality inspection and cross-border logistics solutions to meet all client requirements: 1.Independent Graded Production: We arranged separate production lines for X52N(PSL2) and X60QS line pipes, adopting exclusive rolling and heat treatment processes for each grade, with clear marking and separated packaging. 2.Full PSL2 Standard Quality Inspection: All pipes passed full NDT test, hydrostatic pressure test, tensile and impact test fully meeting API 5L PSL2 standards, with complete official test reports provided. 3.Phased Batch Shipment Plan: We split the huge order into reasonable batches for production and shipment, keeping real-time communication with the client to coordinate delivery rhythm. 4.Complete Export Document Package: We prepared full sets of English certification documents in advance to fit UAE import customs rules and support fast cargo clearance.
