The petroleum casing coupling material is a type of pipe use for manufacturing petroleum casing couplings. As a one-time steel pipe use to support the wellbore of oil and gas wells, its consumption accounts for over 70% of the oil well pipes. The chemical composition of this material includes elements such as 0.31% – 0.35% of carbon, 0.20% – 0.35% of silicon, and 1.45% – 1.60% of manganese. The production process adopts processes such as converter smelting, refining furnace refining, continuous casting and rolling. Some technical schemes adjust the micro-alloying components of vanadium and nitrogen to enable the steel to meet performance indicators such as yield strength of 379 – 552 MPa and tensile strength of ≥ 655 MPa without requiring tempering.
