Azerbaijan Railway R350HT Heavy Rail Project

In 2021, we successfully delivered 42,000 tons of R350HT high-strength heavy rails to Azerbaijan Railways, all heavy rails strictly comply with European standard EN 13674-1:2011 and have been highly recognized by customers. With excellent contract fulfillment capabilities, we supported the upgrade of its core railway trunk lines, demonstrating our bulk supply capabilities in the field of international rail transit materials.

Project Challenge

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) serves as the national railway operator of Azerbaijan, managing a strategically vital rail network in the South Caucasus. It plays an essential role in both domestic connectivity and international trade corridors, providing critical passenger and freight services linking Europe and Asia. This critical project places extreme demands on the quality and durability of rail materials and the supplier's stable delivery capabilities.

Our Solution

We successfully supplied 42000 tons of high-quality R350HT for heavy rail, compliant with the EN13674-1:2011 standard, to Azerbaijan Railways. All rails are produced and inspected in full compliance with the internationally recognized EN 13674-1:2011 standard. This standard imposes extremely stringent requirements on dimensional tolerances, mechanical properties, metallurgical quality, and non-destructive testing, ensuring world-class product quality. Facing a massive 42000 tons order and the challenges of a global supply chain, we demonstrated exceptional project management and supply chain coordination capabilities. The products were delivered on schedule in November 2021, meeting the client's stringent quality and timeline requirements.
