320 Tons 2024/T3 Aluminum Bars Supply Project for Baku Client

IMRI successfully completed the dispatch of the first batch of 2024/T3 aluminum bars for our strategic client in Baku, Azerbaijan. The total contracted quantity reaches320 tons, and the goods are currently en route to the destination.

2024/T3 aluminum bar features high strength, excellent machinability and stable tensile performance, widely used in mechanical manufacturing, structural engineering and industrial processing fields. This shipment marks the official launch of long-term and large-volume supply partnership between IMRI and the Baku-based buyer. Adhering to batch-by-batch quality control and stable delivery capability, IMRI continues to expand diversified metal material export business across the Caucasus region.

Project Challenge

Project Challenge

Firstly, 2024/T3 aviation-grade aluminum alloy has strict requirements on alloy composition, hardness and surface finish. Unstable temperature control during production may lead to unqualified mechanical performance, requiring precise process supervision. Secondly, the client implements extremely strict batch consistency standards. All aluminum bars must maintain uniform color, flat surface and consistent tolerance to ensure subsequent unified processing and assembly. In addition, as the first cooperation batch, this order undertakes the significance of opening long-term partnership. The whole procedure requires zero errors in quality, packaging and delivery schedule to build initial trust. Meanwhile, cross-border transportation to Baku demands professional moisture-proof, anti-oxidation and anti-collision packaging, avoiding surface oxidation, scratches and deformation during long-distance sea and land transit.

Our Solution

We adopted standardized production processes specially for 2024/T3 aluminum alloy, strictly controlling raw material ratio, smelting temperature and heat treatment procedure. Full mechanical testing including hardness, tensile strength and elongation inspection was conducted to guarantee all physical indicators meet international industrial standards. We implemented strict batch sorting and full visual inspection one by one before shipment, ensuring unified surface quality and dimensional tolerance of the whole cargo. Professional customized packaging with anti-oxidation film, foam protection and reinforced bundling was applied to prevent aluminum bar deformation and oxidation during transportation. Meanwhile, we arranged the production and shipment plan efficiently, completed full export documents in advance, and ensured the first batch of goods delivered on schedule to support the client’s project arrangement. This successful delivery lays a solid foundation for long-term stable supply cooperation. It also proves IMRI’s comprehensive supply capacity for high-quality aluminum alloy materials, enabling us to provide diversified industrial metal material solutions for more infrastructure and manufacturing projects in Central Asia and the Caucasus region
